GLOBAL Z SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED OUR FIRST COMMUNITY-BUILDING MUSIC PERFORMANCE EVENT FOR FREDERICK, MD!
The Global Z Recording Project recently hosted a fun musical performance event for all ages! The Frederick community participated in the singing/performance of 12 songs at the Carroll Creek Amphitheater on Sunday, May 25th, 7:00pm. Participants were led through the performance by The Milk Mountain Band.

EVENT DETAILS & FAQ
- WHEN – May 25, 7:00pm
- WHERE – Carroll Creek Park Amphitheater, Frederick, MD (between South Market Street and South Carroll Street) – the amphitheater has natural stone/earth seating available but you may bring a portable chair if you wish
- HOW – The Milk Mountain Band led participants through the performance of 12 popular songs
- Registrants were provided with song chord charts and lyrics in advance to allow participants time to practice the songs before the event
- During the event, the chord charts and lyrics were projected by laser projector onto a 135″ projector screen so participants may follow along as we perform the songs!
- WHO – IT DOESN’T MATTER HOW TALENTED YOU ARE! Anyone of any age who likes to sing or play an acoustic stringed instrument is welcome to JOIN IN THE FUN ! (participants under the age of 14 are required to be accompanied by an adult)
- COST – The event is free, however, as this is our annual fundraiser, we request donations from those who are in a position to donate
- REQUIREMENTS – Musical participants who registered in advance were eligible for extra perks. Walk-on performers are welcome! No pre-registration for audience members is necessary.
- WHEN IS THE NEXT EVENT? – We have had a number of participants – as well as those who could not attend this year – ask when we will host another event. Carroll Creek Unplugged will be held every year, around Memorial Day weekend. While the exact next date for 2026 will not be locked in until this coming winter, keep an eye out on our webpage and social media sites for more updates and news! Our next event promises to be better than ever!
